Explore Palo Verde National Park
Discover a breathtaking landscape of wetlands and one of the few tropical dry forests anywhere in the world. This tour consists of a boat ride through the dramatic mangroves, swamps, forest, saltwater and freshwater lagoons, marshes, and deciduous and evergreen forests of the Palo Verde National Park. In the wet season, the floodwater of the Tempisque River welcomes migrant birds from North and South America, making the park a haven for bird watching. You will also see a diversity of plants and wildlife, including Capuchin Monkeys and White-tailed Deer. The park also offer scenic trails for mountain biking.
